Beer fermentation tanks are usually called CCT(Cylindrical Conical Tanks), FV(Fermentation Vessel) and FT, 

primary fermentor or unitanks menas they are used both for fermenting and lagering.

Fermenting is the process during which the yeast transform the wort into beer. 

Lagerings takes place after fermenting and is the time given to the beer to make them stabilize and age after the fermenting.

WEMAC Fermenter Basic Configuration:

The design pressure is 45 psi (3bar); working pressure is 15psi (1bar)

Four stainless steel legs with leveling footpads

Interior shell: 304 stainless steel, thickness 3mm

Exterior shell: 304 stainless steel, thickness 2mm

Interior and exterior finish bright polish to 0.6~0.8, very hygiene surface

60 degree cone bottom, also other angles can be specified during the design process

Combined drain extensions and beer port in cone are standard equipped

20%-25% head space, unless a different volume is requested

Top manway or side manway door for your choice

Polyurethane insulation thickness 80mm or 100mm for cooling jacket on side and bottom

WEMAC stainless steel fermenters can be individually temperature controlled through glycol jackets.

And they are mostly equipped with accessories, such as over pressure and under pressure valve, CIP cleaning port, 

sanitary sample valve, manhole and so on. The design of WEMAC fermentation tanks is based on our vast beer knowledge. 

Especially the conical fermenter bottom and the fact that we combine the fermentation and maturation in the same vessel. 

In calculating the capacity and configuration of the fermentation and storage of beer, 

sufficient time must be considered for fermentation and storage of the beer to produce good quality beer.
